About BookTalk

BookTalk is a queer book discussion group that has been meeting almost every month for over two decades to discuss books of queer interest (fiction and non-fiction, low-brow to high-brow, new to old). The next book to discuss and the meeting place is discussed at the close of each meeting. The discussions are open, friendly, and informal. BookTalk is open to all interested in discussing books of queer interest.

Past books discussed include:
Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin
Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
Dancer From the Dance by Andrew Holleran
The Coming Storm by Paul Russell
An Arrow's Flight by Mark Merlis
The Trouble With Normal by Michael Warner
The Hours by Michael Cunningham
and hundreds more...
