<!-- ==Inquiring about diet hacker guy==
Hey Noisebridge.  I came by for the 5 minutes about a year ago.  One of the speakers there talked about how he was scientifically testing diets for maximum weight loss and looking into the science of nutrition.  The man looked to be about 27, had dark skin (perhaps Indian or Pakistani), and at that point said he had lost 30 pounds already.  I was wondering if anyone knew of this guy or had a website or contact for him.  I'm doing my own diet studies and was curious about what conclusions his studies brought him to.  Thanks very much. ==Chi Gung and Tai Chi Classes==

howdy guys,
Hi Noisebridge,

I hope someone remembers me from this last tuesdays mtg....
I am interested in holding Chi Gung and Tai Chi classes at your space. Who should I talk to for getting this started? I would like to teach people how to alleviate carpel tunnel, basic body alignments (especially for knees, spine, and balance), and how to improve overall energy, mood, immune system, and blood circulation in the body.
they call me..........."HARDY" (woo) if not thats ok I dont remember

you either so there now for some substance I mentioned to a few that I may be aware of a potentially attractive candidate for a new space; its at 16 7th street at least thats where the entrance is the space is downstairs ie the basement it has a bathroom is freshly rehabbed and painted and new ish it is a wopping 9000 sq feet well vented and I believe worthy of a look and I can it for $4000.- a momo its only very unredeeming flaw is a lack of windows per se. As mentioned is well ventilated freshly painted and rehabbed. If you guys are up for a look call me hardy at 415 3124205 or call Pete Sellars at 8611737...
Here is my website that is still in development: http://DaoistArtsExchange.com/

                              best of luck,
I am available to teach on Mondays from 3:30-4:30pm (which may change to a later hour after Aug. 1)
                                            Hardy (as in Steven)
Sundays TBA
and possibly Saturdays.

FWD Events Re-Direction
There is no reason to mention that I post my events to noisebridge-discuss and noisebridge-announce, "invariably" or not.

No one benefits from that information on the event listing - I'm trying to keep my description lean. JeffreyATW (talk) 20:45, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for using this Category_talk:Events section.<br>
But no, a certain percentage of people invariably see the fairly brief wiki event description here before viewing the listserve posting (assuming they're subscribed to either listserve). They'll subsequently be able to use the Discuss/Announce re-direction in its current state to effectively see timely reminders of the bi-weekly FWD highlights.<br>
As a beneficial use-case scenario for those of us (who shall remain nameless) solely wishing to glean highlights of bi-weekly FWD events, this very re-direction filters out the large amount of discussion "noise" even better than subscribing to the Discuss list in Daily Digest mode.

Let's please keep it that way.

JavaScript Edits
The simple idea here is that beginning programmers are more likely to pick up JS material through the more elementary Front-end Web Development material than they necessarily would be from the EcmaScript programming language, DOM, Object Oriented JavaScript, and Events covered in THIS particular advanced JavaScript class. The FWD instructor, JeffreyATW, even routinely provides live video streams of the class for the convenience of his students (see ).

All in all, EVERYONE benefits by directing inexperienced coders to learn JS and other FWD techniques from the Front-end Web Development class and directing more experienced web developers and programmers of other languages to the JavaScript class.
