Learn to use pen and paper for all they're worth. Make beautiful words. We'll start with basics of using a pen, exercises in making marks on the page, and introductions to forms of italic and blackletter. In later classes we'll make our own [http://www.popcanpen.com/how_to/howto_make%20_pen.html cola pens], 3D print letters, or laser-cut a letterpress font. Would you like to help design a NoiseBridge font?

(Many banks provide such pens for free. :) However, use of traditional pens will also be covered, and a few will be available for loan during the class.
