INTRODUCTION

Beijing Makerspace will be bringing in about 20 corporate executives/investors, entrepreneurs, institutions, and local Chinese government officials who are super excited about the maker movement to the Bay Area between September 28th and October 4th. The main objectives of their trip to the San Francisco Bay Area are:

Create a vision of the transition to incubating more makers through a better understanding of innovation Explore the type of services they should focus on in this new road to develop a maker-focused industry

Beijing Makerspace strongly believes that a culture and spirit Noisebridge has is an crucial element to this development. While it is incredibly unique, having them immerse into the space for a few hours and meeting with all the wonderful hackers would help them best understand what it is to "be excellent to each other."

On September 28, we would love to kickstart the trip with the magic of Noisebridge with a hosted lunch at Noisebridge at 1pm to meet with all the interested and available hackers to talk about the culture, projects, and more. We would also be joining the Circuit Hacking Monday that evening.

Throughout the whole time, we will be having a simultaneous interpreter to help minimize language barriers.
