== Getting to the Faire and the HHA==

The San Francisco Maker Faire is in the San Mateo County Fair Grounds.  '''Please consider getting to the Faire by means other than by car.'''  Last year there was an ''all-day'' traffic jam (both Saturday and Sunda) on 101, which made it take hours (yes, plural) to get past the Faire exit.  From the '''Caltrain Hillsdale Station''' it is only about a few hundred yards walk north to the San Mateo County Fair Grounds.  Here is a map:

Once at the Fair Grounds,  look for the registration tent.  Give your name to the friendly person there, and say you're helping with Mitch's Hardware Hacking Area in the Maker Shed, and they will give you the credentials.  Keep in mind that registration may take awhile if there is a line.

Please show up at the Hardware Hacking Area a few minutes before your shift starts.

The Hardware Hacking Area should be easy to find once you get into the building that is being called the Maker Shed, which is a very, very large building.  The Hardware Hacking Area will be one large corner of it.
