= Consensus =

Robert does not know about the consensus process

Ryan: Other than for membership applications, we use doocracy and small c consensus. IF you want to change something that fundamentally changes noisbridge, like spending 30k. But you can put up and remove walls if you want without big C Consensus.  Most walls here were built (or torn down) without Big C Consensus. Big C consensus for plumbing changes or extremely dangerous stuff.  

Anyone can bring a consensus proposal. Bring it up at a meeting, propose it, discuss it, then next week the members present can choose whether or not to block the proposal. Blocking has a heavy weight. It pretty much means noisbridge is dead to me if this thing happens. It is the opposite of voting. Only one Block (by a Member) is needed to stop a proposal.  

Is a consensus proposal passed if it is not blocked? Yes. Even if you are not a Member, you can ask a Member to block for you, and if you have a good reason they may heed your request.

Blocks rarely happen because we do not have many consensus items.

Does anyone propose Consensus Items?
