(What does that mean?  How does the Anti-Harassment Policy fit into this?  Are we SURE we know what being Excellent is?  This is an important and fundamental conversation at Noisebridge, so let's give it like 120 seconds.)

Tj- If you want to do something, just do it, but make sure to be exellent to eachother.

Excellence is about caring for yourself, others, the space, and the community, it is about calling out when you see something wrong, and being availble to help others. Being exccelent can be doing things like taking out the trash, fixing a broken machine, cleaning up one of the areas, etc. As long as you follow the one rule, you will be welcome at noisebridge. We also have a Strict antiharrasment policy, so if you are making people feel harrased through your actions, you will be asked to leave.  If you feel harrased at Noisebridge, Please contact someone in noisebridge who you trust to help you out, or get in touch with our brave space people, there are people on slack, discuss, and discord who are pretty easy to reach with these issues.  If you are harrasing people, you will be asked to leave, and if it is deemed nessassary you will be 86ed.

(What does that mean?  How do you get a door key? Access to Slack, Discuss, etc?)

There are many ways to participate at noisebridge, this includes taking a class, teaching a class, giving a presentation, using our equiptment, etc. You can also do just about any project since we run on do-ocracy. But if you think that the action or project might disturb others, please go through small c concensus and ask the community before you take any actions. Once you come by for a bit and gain some trust from the community, you can ask for a 30 day access token which will get you in the noisebridge door from 10am to 11pm for 30 days (then it then needs to be renewed). You can also participate digitally through our different online systems- noisebridge slack noisebridge discuss noisebridge wiki noisebridge meetup

You have the the ability to Block Big C Concensus items.  You need 2 Sponsors who are already Big M members, and then you need 4 weeks for of people checking your exellence and go through the process of becoming a Big M member

Big M Members are different from just being a member of the community, this is the highest trust level of the noisebridge community, it means that everyone in the community trusts that you would make good decisions about how noisebridge can move forward. This is an annoying bureocratic level of trust, as the only theoretical benefit is that you get to block big C concensus items, and vote on who we place on our board. To become one, you need to go through a four week process, where you fill out a membership form sponsored by two big M members. You bring it to a tuesday meeting where it is submitted, your membership will be discussed at that meeting, then at the next tuesday meeting your membership is discussed again and if it gets to concensus, you will be asked to leave the room while the members present decide if they want to block you or not, if no member blocks your membership application you become a member. For the next two weeks any big M member can retroactivly block your membership for any reason. IF you get blocked figure out why, fix the issue, and apply again in a few months.

'''Consensus is how the Noisebridge Membership may change how Noisebridge works.'''

(How does Consensus work? What types of things are good for formal Consensus? What is small-c consensus? What is a "block"?)

concensus is the process by which things that can't be done through basic do-ocracy (things that affect others in the space.) It has two flavors, small c and big C. Small c concensus is the process where things that might cause slight issues in the space (events, big projects, moving rooms, etc), you just talk with the community before doing things. Big C concensus is the process by which action are taken at noisebridge that are to big, to expensive, or to critical to be done by small c concensus. These are things like Moving, spending a lot of money, or doing legal bureucratic garbage. This is a two week+ process where an item is propsed one week (if possible you should already have the item posted in draft concensus items, and the binder). At that meeting it will be discussed for a while, then the next week it will be discussed again, and if people feel confident, it will be brought up for concencus, and if no big M member blocks the consensus items it passes and becomes a Consensed item.

The key Idea that we were wondering if it could be done is, to add a short interior ramp that would lift our elevator up about 2 feet of elevation, which would allow us to install a much simpiler virtical wheelchair lift, instead of the 100k+ for a full elevator.  The conserns are still the same, whith bye in for the landlord, still a decent chunk of money (50k?), but a much easier install.
The reason this is better for noisebridge is a proper elevator at noissebridge would require modification of both the first floor (pit), the hole between the floors, and the ceiling / roof, as we would need 10 feet on the second floor while we only have 8 feet.
Problem with the wheelchair lift, is that the have a 14 foot max length normally, and our first floor is 15.5 feet. So we need to add a ramp to get that distance down.
Any comments from the current crew of noisebridge spaceship
current calculations would be a 20 foot ramp would get us the 1.5 feet of gain.
TJ- Where would the ramp go
Rikke- Zig Zag
TJ- Will the lift be usable for those without a wheelchair but have stair dificulty
Dan- That makes sense
We could also use a really long ramp to get to the second floor.
Or we could install a 2 foot wheelchair lift to get you to the start of the next wheelchair lift.
Dan- THis will still need permits, and we definitly need to get landlord permission now.  And then get some fundraising.
Rikke- We definitly need some professional input from the people who actually do this type of installs.

Proof of Noise -- The Matrix / mail, yo
This is ME- I want to see if noisebridge is interested in have kits and stuff for sale, including privacy related projects like TFC, and OHSNAP projects.
Add proof via cryptology showing that it is secure and it was built at noisebridge (pr00f of n01s3)
Pyconaut- Noisebridge can also do Fiscal sponsorship for projects.  Check concensus item histor for June 2016.
Pyconaut- There is presidence for selling suff out of noisebridge, we have a store, and we have sold electronics kits and hacker passports before.
Dan- This proof of noise is a really cool idea, especially for security hardware, where verifying of hardware is importaint.
Pyconaut- I am definitly interested in the proof of noise (I live actually useful blockchains, and cryptographic verification).
There are already some intrest in TFC nodes.
Current issue for the TFC and OHSNAP projects is that they need a private mailing list, on its own mini server.  This is a call for help with this.
Pyconaut- If this mailing list does get created, it would be nice if the process is well documented for future noisebridgers who want to creat their own mailing lists.
Dan- How can we walk this secure hardware line that the gov likes to keep a check on.  Maybe get in touch with EFF.  How do we know who will be buying this hardware, how do we secure noisebridge, and still make the hardware accessible and open.
Pyconaut- There is a interesting line with this type of stuff- Do we sell to everyone, or do we choose who we sell to (are we willing to sell hardware to unexellent people in the name of being open, and not creating walled gardens / private clubs of who can get our hardware).  Having all the code and hardware designs be open source public could help alot, and could allow us th choose who we sell to without locking people out from doing stuff themselves.

Status check in
Electro.noise- Is noisebridge Open?
Pyconaut- No.
Dan- Noisebridge is still closed, due to continuing pandemic, and also needing a lot of work building out the new space.  If you are a knowledgeable volunteer, please get ready to help with the upcoming buildout.
Pyconaut- If you want to know how you can currently help, please come to tuesday meetings, or check in with some of the currently active people preparing the buildout in diferent aspects.
Tina- What about people who are fully vaccinated.
Dan- Right now it is less about vaccine and more about people who are knowledgebale, and willing to help.
TJ- It is helpful though to be vaccinated.  If you can get it, you should.
Dan- Right now we are still going to treat everyone equal (masks, distance, households).  Right now the main projects are cleaning and maintaining our invintory.
Right now SF is in Oarnge teir of california Covid infection rate.
Dan- Also the mission has a higher rate of infection then a lot of the city, so we need to be even more careful.
TJ- "indoor businesses open with modifications" is orange tier reopening level.
Pyconaut- Noisebridge currently is not able to do the modifications nessassary for opening in this teir, at this time.
Dan- Also Noisebridge is in One of the Highest rate locations of SF.  https://data.sfgov.org/stories/s/Map-of-Cumulative-Cases/adm5-wq8i#new-cases-map  Zoom in to where noisebridge is.  Although Noisebridge is safe inside, it is getting there, and if you need to get food that is the danger.
Pyconaut- We are also unsure how SF will move out of oarnge teir (will it wait tell every part of SF is out of the Oargen tier, or will it move to a neighborhood basis, or will it stupidly treat all of SF the same even if it isn't.)
Faa.noise-
