Introductions

- pyconaut - he/him, skiing few weeks, coming back to NB soon - Loren- hopes to help hosting events, get jitsi back up -lx- Game bridge, wednesday nights, active with helping organize events, support, signage, like wiki, planning event project NB14 -Cloud- trying to find interesting stuff to do at noisebridge -HB - Works on BBS for Noisebridge, digital art, "go to" for whatever needs to get done. details on some possible equiptment for noisebridge in slack: Lazer cutter, lots of thread, sewing machines, posted some info on slack #sewing #laser. Pyconaut will find out more about the lazer cutter. The machines are below market price/even compared to regular used market. (discounted price). Though the thread would be free.

Guild meets Thurs: for fundraising, board elections, maintain organizers

Accessibility guild is meeting Thursdays during To-do-ocracy to plan space improvements and plan the Elevator installation and fundraising. BOARD ELECTIONS are coming up! The elections will be Jan 22. In order to nominate someone (including yourself) for the 2022 Board of Noisebridge, sign up to run for the board! https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/2022_board_election 3D Printing needs maintainers and event organizers! Noisebridge is getting a super powerful large multi-material printer donated that people will want to learn. ONGOING Noisebrew is starting soon and accepting funding and equipment donations! Add your name to the wiki page if you're interested in participating or helping. ONGOING Fundraising is planning a NB14 14th anniversary grand reopening fundraiser. Groups at Noisebridge can prepare and exhibit things for it. Add your ideas to the wiki. Help plan at fundraising meetings during Doocratic Thursdays 6-9PM. ONGOING Donation Sign project to build an LED-powered version of the 2169 signage has a mockup draft design and is requesting feedback on the wiki.

Spending Needs

Gotta spend money on XYZ (i.e. Gate, wiring etc.). WHO CAN SIGN THE CHECK OR LEND THE CREDIT CARD!?!?! It doesn't matter if we agree to do something and it can’t be paid for.

Fundraising Update

How's it all going

Goal of having the infrastructure to do the fundraising better for other events. Get our donation recieving stuff ready for the event. Upgrade the wiki donation system (earmark). In the past only fundraised specific projects.

Ok to recieve money in the current system but needs improvements.

Stripe card-reader. Donations: Credit card (because no one carries cash anymore. Cash boxes are present in the space) Is there a way to draw attention to the cash box?

Has anyone suggested apple pay?

Adobe after-effect preview on 5 minutes of fame. animated version of the character on the poster with a clock ticking - representing noisebridge's history.

Industrial embroidery machine? Need to follow up with proper sewing people.

Better donation system? Loren? - Cash boxes. - 3d printer room, - Coffee area - Top of fridge - Front door.

- this offered kind of machine. No. Likely to be too large of a maintenance burden - This type of machine will not be usable at noisebridge. We'll struggle to keep it in working order. Hard to fix, difficult parts to find.

Another embroidery machine may work for us.
