Some Ideas
- We do not yet have a scheduled event time but we could set one up
- We could set up a section in the library with texts like The Meme Machine for promulgation of memetic studies.
- We could do something at Five Minutes of Fame to promote understanding of memetics and participation in Memebridge
- Memebridge could assist in crafting memes and maximizing the spread of Noisebridge's memes in ops like the Juggalo Science Fair
Questions
- Who is interested in memetics?
- What sort of event would we like to do?
- What sort of research would we like to perform?
- What kinds of things does Noisebridge do that is already quite memetic?
People Interested So Far
- Alex Peake
- Steven Dee
- Naomi Most
Memetics Links
- Know Your Meme Memes Database: Although memes means more than just internet memes, KYM does great analysis of each meme's memetic composition factors that contributed to viral spread.
Memetic Open Scouts
- [http://patamemeticscouting.blogspot.com/ Pata Memetic Scouting is an interesting idea about an open version of scouting based on memetics
