Election of board is delayed a tad so we can get the nominees list finalized and give Member ppl at least the required amount of time to vote.

Editor's note: Noisebridge Membership is not like other Memberships, where you pay for things and expect them. It's more like an affirmation of leadership and ownership of responsibility for things. Noisebridge Membership program is like a proof of stake, consensus model. It's like a DAO! (whoa)

Spending Needs

Gotta spend money on XYZ (i.e. Gate, wiring etc.). WHO CAN SIGN THE CHECK OR LEND THE CREDIT CARD!?!?! It doesn't matter if we agree to do something and it can’t be paid for.

front door (grant)

Ken is waiting on an estimate from someone about one possible door solution. JD has gotten a quote from Union door for $14k, trying to get onboarded into their system as a customer for an official quote that we can then take to the city for a grant application

Elle: if we do the 14k one, we don't need an inspector. if we go for the cheaper option and try to get grant money for it, we DO need to also get an inspection.

JD: Actionable item: need some details to complete the form to give to Union door to get the official price.

Ken: Same for the contract I am pursuing.

sprinklers (permits)

JD: We've already gotten a price from a pluber who could basically come in without a permit and add 2 sprinkler heads for fire-exit compliance for the proposed hallway. We've already approved 1800$ for it. Some folks have expressed concerns about previous issues with compliance/permits,etc. Want to make sure we get any work done signed off on by the appropriate inspectors no matter what anyway.

To do: add a Consensus item to be Consensed on next week for doing sprinkler work.

Let's talk about what accesibility ground rules we are setting.

Ken: Early mornings and late evenings seem like good times where people will naturally not be at the space any way.

Moon: Classes/events need consideration. As do people who have particular concerns about projects that have serious needs.

Elan: So existing meetups will be happening. Writing and sewing. Rest of space can be totally closed off while these things are going on.

Sewing has multiple projects going on at once.

TwiceasNice expressed interest in leading this over her vacation. She wants to more or less take charge of major aspects.

Wyatt: We put stuff down on a board for what to do.Collect all desired and intended taks on that. It's upstairs currently.

Elan: Should we put up signage on the front door notifying ppl?

(Also please update the website for people to know. Announce it in all possible places)

Ken: Something about reaching out to a major brand retailer of tools to sponsor. So we can maybe get some nice new equipment?

Moon: Is there any budget for things like food/etc for people who are coming in specifically for cleaning?

Elan I'm personally willing to chip in for stuff, but would be nice to have a sponsor.

Figure out a per-day budget? $60 per day * 7 days = ~$500 (set as maximum cap) Party at the end of the two weeks?

Do we need big C for this?

General consensus was reached by participants of the meeting. All Big M's should be notified so proper consensus is achieved.
