'''WAYNE JACKSON:''' Learn to visually program a software synthesizer, and then use Darwinian Evolution to evolve utterly original and undreamed of sounds. Bring your PC or Macintosh and, if you have one, a MIDI controller.  http://www.darwinarts.com

-Want to BUILD a bizarre sound-creation contraption, of wood, metal, old springs, rusty gears, and other found objects? /Edgetone Records/ recording-artist Tom Nunn will guide you. In the grand tradition of Harry Partch, Tom is creator of the "Octatonic T-Rodimba" and other, other, other-worldly instruments. Bring materials you'd like to use, or just find some junk around Noisebridge.

'''DRUMPANTS:''' Learn to connect a sensor mounted on your body to Drumpants Javascript SDK, using the WebAudio API. Example: http://webaudiodemos.appspot.com/midi-synth/index.html (except instead of clicking on the keys, you'll just hit the DrumPants sensors!). Bring $5 to $10 for parts (depending on how many sensors you want).

-Want to construct a MIDI controller, using rubber buttons, LEDs, rotary potentiometers, faders, encoders, accelerometers, and arcade buttons? Peter Nyboer of /Livid Instruments /is offering Noise Hack participants a 25% DISCOUNT off their Brains, Brain Jr, keypads & spacers, and omni boards!!! Peter has generously set up the coupon code 'noisebridge' that can be used on checkout from their webstore. You should buy immediately, so your toys arrive in time. This coupon will expire soon. Peter is also sending over a box of circuit boards, pots, encoders, ribbon cables, partially working Brains, old pic chips, partly completed boards, sheets of 8x8 rubber buttons, and dust. Thank You Peter! We'll have geeks around to help you make something awesome. Peter may drop by the Noise Hack to give you some tips.

-Want to learn to BEND an innocent music toy, until it produces mutant sounds, unlike anything the original designers intended? Martin de Video will lead you down the dark and mysterious path of circuit bending. Bring an electronic music toy you want to bend to your will.

'''MARTINO DA VIDEO:''' Want to learn to BEND an innocent music toy, until it produces mutant sounds, unlike anything the original designers intended? Martino da Video will lead you down the dark and mysterious path of circuit bending. Bring an electronic music toy you want to bend to your will.

-Want to CODE a jolly music applet for the web? The kind and patient Ari "Kelp" Sousaphone will get you started programming your own web-toy. Some programming experience recommended (in any language). Computer required. Participants will learn how to use an experimental Firefox feature to make sounds and write songs using only JavaScript. Look, no .wav files! Bring headphones and a laptop with Firefox 4 or later. Other browsers probably won't work. JavaScript knowledge will be helpful, but not required.

'''COLE WILLSEA:''' Learn how to use the Web Audio API to build instruments in the browser. Make a sequencer and hook into Socket.IO to sync up with others, or go crazy mapping keyboard and mouse events to oscillators, samples, and effects.  Ideally you should know a bit about HTML/Javascript or a bit about electronic music, but all levels welcome. Bring your computer.

-Want to SOLDER up an electronic tone-generator circuit? Douglas Benner and Johny Radio will show you how to build it. Noisebridge will provide tools and parts. Here's the circuit you'll build (*although this is subject to change). No electronics experience required:

'''JOHNY RADIO:''' Want to SOLDER up an electronic tone-generator circuit? Johny Radio will show you how to build a Lunetta-type oscillator, based on the Schmitt NAND gate. Noisebridge will provide tools. Bring $5 for parts.

-Want to be the victim of a Reaction Video? Cycle 74's Sam Tarakajian (of MAX/MSP fame) is developing an iPad app which lets you control Max patchers from an iPad. It's like TouchOSC but way faster and more Max-oriented. You define a region of your patch that you want mirrored, then you just start throwing dials and sliders and stuff into it and you can touch and interact with them immediately. Sam is going to shoot a video at the Noise Hack of people playing around with Mira. Sam will take people on a quick tour of Max and Mira, recording their reactions and whatnot.
