Noisebridge is not an infrastructure provider for technical-creative projects. It's haphazardly run into the ground by people driven by ideology, not practicality, plus assorted non-hackers, squatters, ex-convicts, and schizophrenics.  We are a non-profit educational institution intended for public benefit, supposedly. We are primarily dysfunctional in a 5,200 square-foot mess located in the heart of San Francisco.  Some teach, some learn, some share, many don't. Read more about Noisebridge or watch a short video...

Some talk about providing a safe space to work, learn, and play, but that has yet to happen. Please read and understand our anti-harassment policy and community standards. This is how we expect people to behave when they are at Noisebridge, and you should also expect this standard of behavior from others in the space.

Noisebridge relies on your donations to continue operating. If you have found Noisebridge useful, please consider donating to help us keep operating.

Noisebridge is a space for sharing, creation, collaboration, research, development, mentoring, and of course, learning. Come visit, work, and use our equipment free (but please donate when you can!)

Noisebridge is also more than a physical space; it's a community with roots extending around the world.
