I have made sizes up to K cup and shipped all over the world, and one understanding I see on this site, and on millions of sites all over the web and even talking to hundreds of different "professionals", is that No One seems to know how to size bras the same! Every single woman has a different understanding and there are even many arguments, all over this blog, and on every site I have looked at. But, as much as it is appreciated, volume is not what I need to know, and your explanation, as much as it is the right one for you, is quite different from 20 others I read on this blog, and millions of others all over the internet, including the "professionals", so therein lies the problem...no one seems to know how to size a bra, but I do not need to know how to size a bra, as it does not affect the pillow I make for you, but is a benchmark ONLY. I simply need to know 3 things, as the site clearly states...without any perversion of these exact measurements: bust width(armpit to armpit-straight and flat across the front of your chest wall), hip width(from hip to hip, across your front) and your cup size. It's that Simple. I see why you are so on edge about the Exacts, because no one on this blog or anywhere in life, or anywhere on the web, can figure out the right bra size to wear, and it is Truly Amazing to me. So many Chiefs and No Indians is the old phrase, and probably not even politically correct anymore, but who cares about PC! There is MUCH more than a little wiggle room, with my pillows, as you suggest. None of what you are bringing up really matters with these pillows. I need the measurements, as indicated, to make the proper pillow for you, to give you the relief you deserve. I have personally designed these, and personally made thousands of these, and know what is necessary, and it is not the things you are suggesting, like you need to fit a bra...but I do thank you for your concern. This is Not a bra, and is not meant to hug you, it is Meant to Provide an opening that allows for your whole breasts, on both sides, to fit into with regards to width(thus the bust width), and to be deep enough(thus the cup size), and for you not to be overlapping the edge of the pillow(thus the width size). You put a lot of effort into your critical and informative post, and I thank you, but as I said, none of it applies to what I need for the proper pillow to be made. This pillow is not meant for everyone, and you might not be one that it would work for, although it has worked for everyone that has ordered one, since I started making them 3 years ago. In fact, I have received raves and such tearful thank you's from many that could not sleep for months, and now can, for the first time, since they were always stomach sleepers. I have many others that have been to the doctors many times, with growths from lying on their breasts too much, and causing damage to their breast tissue. Have some faith, and answer the questions the way they are simply asked on each order form, and you will get a product that works for you, guaranteed...not like the horrible problems so many of you are talking about in these blogs I read, about getting the improper size bras. These are Not Bras, so I do not need the information you would need to size a bra, so please discard that thought, and keep it simple by just simply answering each criteria and you will get the pillow that will give you an amazing amount of comfort, like you have never had before, having larger sized breasts than others. It spreads like wildfire on the internet and in blogs, so if there is an issue, you can bet everyone will know about it, and you can search high and wide, and not find any of those types of complaints on the internet about the ComfyBreasts Pillows....but you may possibly find some complaints about it taking longer to make them, as we hand-make them custom to every order, and we have been overwhelmed for 3 years solid! So, sometimes it has taken longer, and I have even shipped pillows overnight across the world, and lost money, just to keep the customer happy, if we are that backed up and they just had surgery or something very demanding that they have to have the pillow asap! I just put these pillows, the K-N cup sizes up, because a couple of women in this blog begged me to make these in your sizes, so you all could also have the benefit of comfort lying on your stomach, and the first response is pretty strong from you, telling me I need to change everything I am doing, that has been overwhelmingly successful, for 3 years. Like I said, I appreciate all the time you put into your critique of my web site, but none of it applies to my pillows, unfortunately. The pillow will not take every bit of contact away from touching the bed, when lying on your stomach, but it is designed to dramatically reduce the amount of pressure by about 80+%. In other words, if you are a K cup, you are on an average of 11" out from your chest wall, to the nipple of your breast, LYING DOWN. One thing you are forgetting, is this is for LYING down, not standing up, which might give some credence to your critique, but lying down, the measurement is for depth of the opening, and K cup is about 11". "ABOUT", is the key here, because it does not have to be exact or even that close. If you are 11 inches out from your chest wall, then lying down, it allows me to know how deep the opening needs to be, to give you 80+% relief from TOTAL COMPRESSION, you live with now. The amount of compression lying down on your stomach, is minimized to about maybe 3", instead of 11"! That is Dramatic, and no one that lies on them, even feels that, out of the thousands I have made and sold all over the world. Wow, I must say, I am shocked, and I am surprised to get such a tough Welcome, as it has never happened before, anywhere on the web before. I do hope that this will help many women who really need to lie down and sleep on their stomach, and they see past all this needless confusion, right off the bat. Just follow the instructions on the web site, and you will be amazed, that I actually know what I am doing, and you will be able to, for the first time, completely lie down on your stomach and sleep, or for whatever activity you are lying on your stomach, with No Pain or Discomfort as you are unfortunately, so familiar with. Thank you for the time to clear this up, and I do hope I can provide much relief for so many of you larger women, as I have for the breast cancer survivors, and other larger breasted women, up to cup size J, that I have been making these for, for 3 years now! Thank you, rubin

DIY PCB Etching : Using Chemicals[edit]

This tutorial will show you how to make a simple single sided PCB using a chemical method. In summary the traces will be transferred and covered in a solid copper board , then the parts of copper not needed will stay exposed. Finally the parts not needed will be removed with chemicals.

Materials Needed[edit]

  • Single sided copper clad board -- [[ https://www.google.com/search?q=copper+clad+fr4&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8]]
  • Circuit board trace layout in a printable format (pdf or postscript ps works, design this with an EDA program)
  • Glossy Inkjet Photo Paper (to print the traces on)
  • Iron or press
  • Etchant chemical
    1. Ferric Chloride Solution (to dissolve the copper from the board)
    2. Muriatic Acid
  • WetorDry paper
  • Container to put PCB in with chemical solution

Steps[edit]

If you are using Ferric Chloride(FeCl3) foretchant, then start heating your etchant to 50C

1) Preparing the Copper Board: Clean It

Make sure to clean any junk from the copper board before beginning the process!

  • Use WetorDry paper / fine sand paper to clean the PCB under water until it turns pink

Sandingboard.jpg

  • Wipe off water with a clean towel
  • Use acetone to remove oils from PCB

2) Printing the Traces:

Grab your Laser printer and print the traces onto the glossy inkjet photo paper.

  • we used walgreens 8.5x11 stock inkjet photo paper with fine results
  • We used the Noisebridge Brother HL-5470DW and generic Laser printer toner with fine results
  • Make sure your print driver isn't scaling or distorting the circuit layout
  • Use monochrome and highest resolution possible for your printer

The printer operator should also take this opportunity to provide feedback to the circuit designer:

  • Make sure the design traces are thick enough for this process (XXmil/XXmm minimum trace width with 20mil/0.508mm minimum clearance)
  • Make sure the export file is mirrored. The Laser Printer toner is going to 'transfer' to the surface of the copper clad and become unmmirrored in the process

3) Transferring the Traces to the PCB:

  • Press down the glossy paper with the design onto the copper PCB

Tracestransfer.jpg

  • Use a hot iron to press down glossy paper to the PCB

Tracestransfer2.jpg

  • After the glossy paper stick onto the PCB submerge the two in a tray of water and gently press down the paper so it peels off leaving the trace on the PCB

Traceswaterdip.jpg

  • Once the paper starts to peel off under the water feel free to use your finger to gently peel the paper from the copper board

Tracespeel.jpg

  • If after peeling the paper , white paper is still on the board re-dip the board into the water and rub off the remaining paper with your finger

Tracesrewater.jpg

  • Dry off any water

4) Get Rid of the remaining Copper

  • Place the board into a tray

Chemicalprep.jpg

  • Place the Ferric Chloride Solution Bottle inside tray of hot water (this will heat the solution and make the PCB copper to be dissolved faster)

Heatingchemicals.jpg

  • Pour some of the solution into a tray along with your PCB

Chemicaladdit.jpg

  • Check the PCB every 5 or so minutes to check if the copper has been fully removed

5) Finishing Up

  • Finally wash off the ink and you should be left with only copper lines on top of the traces printed
