Overview[edit]

In cooperation with the Austin hackerspace, Noisebridge has set up an experimental two-way on-demand video portal between our respective spaces. You can contact Martyn or Dr. Jesus for any details not mentioned here.

Operating Instructions[edit]

At the moment, the portal controls don't work yet. In the meantime, the portals can be used on an experimental basis by logging into the ops machine. Contact one of the people involved with the project to get started.

Technical Details[edit]

The portal machine uses a framebuffer-based XMPP client with the jingle video chat extension to connect to the main hackerspaces portal server. See the nbops repository on Google Code for details.

The portal will be part of a couch-based phone booth! page for that project: NoiseCouch
