The workshop would involve me presenting findings from my research and then running design activities where I get people to come up with new ideas about how social platforms could work and then flesh them out. I'll bring markers, post-its, activity sheets etc for people to work with.

About the Organiser

Hi, I'm Tomm. I'm doing my PhD at the University of Technology in Sydney where I’ve been working with queer young men to understand their experiences online. Now I’m exploring how we could design social platforms that are more supportive and enjoyable to use. I’m going to be visiting SF soon to run a couple of co-design workshops.

I've read through the info on hosting events and am happy to follow everything I've read. I'll be in the Bay Area from the 27th of May and am hoping to visit in person for the meeting on Tuesday the 30th of May.
