= Update Feb 2014 =
* Prusa RepRap seems to be functioning well under optimized settings. Use with experience on the machine and/or come to 3D Thursdays (7-10pm) to learn how it works!
Link to .ini file for slic3r: [[http://www.mediafire.com/view/x87inr32ci698wb/SuperSlic3r.ini]]
Use 3mm PLA only. Make sure temp is set at 190 (for clear PLA) and the above settings are loaded.
Remember, respect the 3D printer, and you will get desired results.
= Update June 2013 =
[[File:Rep_Rap_3D_printers_at_Noisebridge.jpeg|thumb|right|June 2013 sighting of some sexy 3D RepRap printers at Noisebridge]]
* I'm going to try to update this page. I think that the RepRap 3D printers should be the focus of the 3D printing community at Noisebridge since they are open source. The other printers have derived many of their designs from the RepRap and they have millions of dollars so maybe all the marketing people they send here to bug me should work on decent documentation and professional services. = RepRap Old from 2008 =
[[User:Romyilano|Romy]] - ''this is REALLY OLD. Like from 2008 old. Where were you in 2008? Is that when your okcupid date was born? We have to update this.''
