One of the big ideas we've been talking about is throwing a "bad" (i.e. good) dance party with multiple D.J.'s playing different music at the same time, giving each attendant the option of choosing which dj they want to listen to by tuning into their FM frequency. Here are the FM transmitters I'm thinking about using--I'm not sure if there's a better alterative--but these seem to go plenty far: http://www.electronickits.com/kit/complete/surv/ck217.htm And I REALLY want to borrow these for the night so people could use their own headphones instead of whatever we scrounge up. I'll be sweet-talking these guys soon about the benefits of showing off their equipment: http://silentdis.co/2012/06/silent-disco-wireless-receivers-for-wired-headphones/ I'm also going to make some fun flyers soon to be posted in places like the cafe I work at downtown--let's spread the word about this thing and make it fun! :)
