Nice example visitors pages[edit source]

Visuals are helpful. Nice example at https://theinterval.org/visit/. I want to make views that incorporate landmarks at several scales. 16th St Bart seems a most important omission.

(Globe, US, CA, SF/Bay/Tahoe/Central-NorCal region, Bay, SF ~ neighborhoods, SF Mission, 16th Bart + nearby restaurants + parks + other spaces)

Symbolic maps, photos, stylized (fluidly multi-scale) map depictions.

Personas / UX Models[edit source]

We might consider creating some personas, and identify user groups, especially from among Guilds, WGs, Projects, and Events attendees (External, Meetups, Classes, etc).

When to Create Personas[edit source]

“As early as possible” is the best guideline for when to create personas. Of course, personas must be based on user research in order to be at all accurate and representative of actual users of a product. Personas are made-up people, but they should be made up based on information about real people.*

Help with talk pages:

  • Prefer to use the Add topic link when adding a new topic comment. Note: appends topics to end. Expect to read this way too: most-recent last, at end.
  • See mw:help:talk page norms & caveats.
  • Add a comment (with usual wiki formatting) and sign your comments.
  • Examples:

[add a comment] (& don't forget to sign: ) -- ~~~~ * ['''reply''' with a bullet point] -- ~~~~ ** ['''re-replay''' with a nested bullet -- ~~~~ : [''reply'' with an indent] -- ~~~~ :: [''re-reply'' with an double indent] -- ~~~~ :* [''pre-indent'' a bulleted '''reply'''] -- ~~~~
