There was some chatter on Slack that small "c" consensus had been reached to depreciate "Associate Membership" status. I say, not true. Reboot was happening, people wanted to stay focused, and Associate Membership remains a cherished part of Noisebridge. The discussion never happened to depreciate Associate Membership.
Functionally, Associate Membership was and should be a default test of who gets a functioning keycode for the payphone or the new clipper card NFC system. my $.02.
