I'm involved with cellspace also, and I agree that they are a lot like
noisebridge, except that noisebridge is well-organized and financially
solvent.

I can expound on Cellspace's virtues, vices and my impression of it's
history sometime if anyone's interested, suffice it to say that at the
moment they don't seem to be doing a lot of meetings or making
decisions by consensus, but then, this may very well change again in
the near future... And they do however have a well-defined set of
"clusters" that are responsible for different areas, and some of those
no doubt run by consensus.

(I personally think it's hilarious that cellspace "clusters" are
called "clusters" and not, for example, "departments"... we rebel
underground types don't believe in corporate hierarchical nonsense
like "departments".)

By the way, if anyone here isn't getting enough sheet-rocking action
at Noisebridge, you can help build the new "fire tunnel" at Cellspace
which should help keep the fire department happy with the place. Let
me know, and I'll invite you to the next session.
