This is a perfectly lovely idea, though the cyclist riot grrl in me
quietly opines that cars are too violent yet. Maybe that's just the
accident victim in me. I grew up stealing my brother's cub scout
pinewood kerby kits and I support making model cars over assault
rifles. And paper craft! Always.

(Even more pacifist handcrafts: model bikes? paper flowers to stuff in
the paper guns? Time to bust out the macrame, clearly.)

If this happens I am +1 to be there and enthusiastically make and race
cars. After the 9th. Because my famblee are also visiting.

This would also be a superb exercise for the laser cutter and vinyl cutter.
