Erlang Factory SF Bay: Live streaming on Erlang Central
If you didn't get a chance to come to the Erlang Factory in San
Francisco this year, you can still see the talks live, as they will be
streamed on ErlangCentral.org. All you have to do is log on to
http://erlangcentral.org/ on the 21st of March and enjoy the Erlang
Erlang User Conference 2013: Special ticket release on 19 March
The 2013 User Conference we will keep the extended format with two days
of talks -13th and 14th of March and three days of training courses –
starting on the 10th of June; those interested can also attend a day of
tutorials on the 12th.
On the 19th of March at 12.00 Sweden noontime time (GMT 1) , we will be
releasing 50 tickets at the Very Early Bird Rate. Be prepared to grab
them, they are bound to sell fast!
Budapest Erlang Factory Lite: 30 May 2013
The first Budapest Erlang Factory Lite takes place on 30 May. It will
bring together Hungarian and international Erlang experts presenting the
latest Erlang innovations and projects.
The deadline for talk proposals is the 3rd of April. As usual, the
sooner you submit the greater are your chances:
Evening School of Erlang: Now in Santa Monica
The Evening School of Erlang in Santa Monica starts on 9 April. The two-
hour evening classes will be conducted twice a week (every Tuesday and
Thursday) over a four week period from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The teacher will
be Jay Nelson, an Erlang practitioner for 10 years currently engaged in
transforming Healthcare Communications by helping build HIPAA-compliant
apps at TigerTex.
GOTO Zurich 8-9 April: Erlang talks and discount tickets
The Erlang programming language will feature heavily at GOTO Zurich on 8
and 9 April: ParaPhrase coordinator Kevin Hammond and Edward Tate will
be presenting "Thinking Parallel: Exploiting Advanced Software
Refactoring to Produce Structured Parallel Programs". Torben Hoffman's
talk subject is "OTP, the Middleware for Concurrent Distributed Scalable
Architectures"and Omer Kilic will discuss "The Actor Model applied to
the Raspberry Pi and the Embedded Domain".
Not to mention the hands on tutorial on how to design an Erlang powered
embedded sensor node, running on the Raspberry Pi!

This year, the ACCU conference will be held in Bristol between the 9th
and 13th of April. Francesco Cesarini will give a 90 minutes
presentation on ‘OTP, the Middleware for Concurrent Distributed Scalable
architectures’. Omer Kilic’s 45 minutes talk is titled ‘The Actor Model
applied to the Raspberry Pi and the Embedded Domain’. You can see the
