A proposal to publish the membership list on the noisebridge/bureaucracy
repository[1] was discussed at the Tuesday meeting tonight. I asked that
it be tabled, recalling a thread[2] from November on this list. Does
anyone have any more feedback? Amendments to the proposal?

I have mixed feelings. 1) Transparency allows a fair decision making
process. Anonymous participation in a consensus decision making process
could be abused. 2) A list that is only available to officers of
Noisebridge as the final source of truth can also be abused. 3) I will not
question anyone's need for privacy, and Noisebridge should go to lengths
to support member's articulating the need for privacy.

I do not feel that the status quo has been abused, only that the potential
exists. Is the wiki category solution sufficient? Does publishing a list
on github compromise privacy in a way that the Noisebridge wiki does not?

-Kevin
