it may be a little early to say the Omni will be a success, but I think the quote "those who believe it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it" applies if you have nothing constructive to offer.

we have been watching and learning in detail about mistakes made in the past, and we hope to be around long enough to make wide swathes of new mistakes that others can learn from, and so on, and so forth. in 10 years of taking part in cooperative and collective endeavors, i've heard previous failures used as excuses never to try again, and have seen plenty of old ideas tried in new ways with new people become resounding successes. i'd take praveen's advice on getting that massage. i remember building a new retaining wall for some plants at my old co-op when the guy who coordinated grounds said nothing would ever grow there so i shouldn't waste my time, but a few bricks and about half a yard of soil later, and with an alternate dumping spot for dirty mop water created, the garden flourished.

cheers,
hol
