Have you heard of the Awesome Foundation? It's awesome! There are chapters all over the world. I'm part of the SF chapter. 10 of us get together the first Tuesday of each month, and kick in $100 each. At our monthly meeting we go through the projects submitted for the month, pick one that we all agree is awesome, and give them $1,000, no strings attached. The idea is to spread more awesome in the world. And, it works! Collectively, we've given away over $1.3 million to awesome projects.

We're now looking for some new trustees. We're having a mixer at Noisebridge so that current, past, and future trustees can get together. There will also be some past grantees.
This Thrusday, February 12th, 7pm-9pm, at Noisebridge.
If you're interested in becoming an SF Awesome Foundation trustee, please come!

Over the past several years, we've chosen several awesome projects from Noisebridge as recipients of our monthly Awesome grant.

Cheers,
Mitch.
