Hey folks,

Just found that the OpenStreetMap project is fundraising for hardware
upgrades, and wanted to send it along to all interested parties in
Noisebridge.

OSM is an amazing project making Free mapping data available to the
world, untainted by corporate interests. It's all volunteer driven, and
in every case I've used it the data has been country miles ahead of what
proprietary mapping sources provide (OSM always has new roads, walkways
etc first as volunteers race to update the maps)

Here's the link to their fundraiser. They're closing in on their goal,
but every little helps in keeping the awesome bits flowing.
