It sounds like the only real problem here is that we need to replace the 
CF card in bikeshed and restore the vyatta OS/config.

But it looks like you broke the DSL line, so I can't get to anything from 
the outside now.

Most of this is up to date:

Gutting the network is a waste of everyone's time.
