Excellence[edit | edit source]
Our One Rule is to Be Excellent to Each Other.
(What does that mean? How does the Anti-Harassment Policy fit into this? Are we SURE we know what being Excellent is? This is an important and fundamental conversation at Noisebridge, so let's give it like 120 seconds.)

(How does Consensus work? What types of things are good for formal Consensus? What is small-c consensus? What is a "block"?)

Discussion Item -1[edit | edit source]
Permits and SFMade discussion
Nothing new, currently waiting on a revision from naomi
Dan- What are the costs, and can we set aside a budget
Corey- How would we lay out the shops
front to back ventalation, so we should have the dirtiest shops in the far back, and to have equiptment be on pallets or carts so that we can bring stuff to the front. We need to Keep a clear lane for ADA and general space movement.
How will we pay them?
Pyconaut- what extra details do we need?
Discussion Item 0[edit | edit source]
How has bravespace changed since we have moved online
Doing the same as if we were in person, Be exelent to eachother, and do not harass people
Pyconaut- virtual harassment has been part of
Discussion Item 1[edit | edit source]
Elevatorz
We have an offer to install an elevator at Noisebridge for about 100k, might be a bit more for the extra work nessasary to prep the area (landing area), and will probably be close to 120k.
We should probably start looking for grants and do some fundraising.
We also need to create a Big C Concensus item for setting this money aside so that we can move forward, and maybe set a deadline for other options.
We want it to be done correctly (better to pay more then to deal with what happened at 2169). We could also create a good relationship with the installer
Dan- If we pay 120k, then over our entire 10 year lease that would be $1000 a month, which is not much for allowing many people to explore the whole new space.
Discussion Item 2[edit | edit source]
Muralz and art and themez
Chickens and Sutro Tower
Projection mapping for art
Putting canvas on walls for murals
There could even be a system for auctioning off the
Why not do both, and also there will be a lot less mural space then people think due to how much stuff we have in the space. (music room has acoustic modification needed, electronics area will have a wall of parts, machine shops will probably have tools on the walls)
Living walls would be cool
Living bioluminesent mycelium floors and walls?
LED floor
What other art themes-
Chickens
Sutro Tower
Robots
Curcits
Gold (red)
California native animals and plants
San Francisco Garter Snake
Pyrimids
Obalisk
Space
Hackerfood
Discussion Item 3[edit | edit source]
Cohacking and livestreaming
What is a good way to cohack and stream at the same time?
How is jitsi doing
How do we let people know beforehand that the event will be streamed
Pyconaut- you could use the meetup to let people know that it will be streamed publicly.
Will be tomorrow at 7:30
Discussion item 4[edit | edit source]
Add call in feature to Jitsi
And add in Etherpad
adding mumble for a listen only room wouldLab be cool as well
End of Meeting[edit | edit source]
