• Michael: stole a frozen sausage frm the teachers louge and put it in the trophy case. Don't know if anyone ever found it

• Dennis: twin brother and look identical, in 2-3rd grade they swapped but the teacher caught them.
• Elan: Space bridge. Annual sleepover starting tonight.
• Zacchae: filled whoopie coushin with water and put it on the side of moms bed and estimated where she would step and it got her
• Ahn: superglued water bottle cap closed.
• Naomi: she her they them, highschool made a sign that says sucks and put it on the end of their school name so it said Wissahickon High School Sucks in huge letters.
• Kavya: she her, can't recall a prank
• Heather: she her but plural in the first person sometimes. Good prank, disabling mechanisms in a reversable way. placing a pen in the rolling track of a sliding door.
• Caitlin: she her, doesn't usually do branks because they are mean spiritied and she's a good person. iced people at an intern. with alc
• MJ: doesn't do pranks but siblings like to brank her. orea with toothpaste. doesn't fall for it. got to be careful
• wez: digital clown, april foools is facorite day. let a drugged out cheata on a room of his friends who were scared of cheeta. aparently common prank in arab countries...
• Choikak: doesn't have a fav prank
• Meowther: him and his friend stole all the milk crates from the back of a grocery store.

Jet: we're a nonprofit so we need board members to be decently responsible to be our interface to the outside world. 2 weeks ago we started nominations, by today we're confirming all of those nominations and opening up voting. You have 2 weeks starting tonight at midnight to start voting for ppl so if you're a core member we'll reach out to you and make sure you can vote.

Elan: things are fine, everyone's been reached out to, majority have responded yes/no. there are 20 ppl who have accepted.

Loren: 8 ppl have not confirmed yet. Hey! [person across the room] you were nominated for the board do you want to be on it? [they look surprised]

Jet: anything we need to do tonight to make it keep running smoothly?

Elan: someone go upstairs and tell Judy, see if she wants to accept her nomination

Jet: all Core Members are allowed to vote for or block an nominee.

Loren: we're electing the whole board (from scratch), not keeping the previous board.

Elan: current board is technical 9 people but really 5-6 active.

LX: totescanner app on amazon and 10 dollars for a box on amazon. so up and running tomorrow. replacement needs some thinging. github repo up. tracking things and bins. electronics system right now. the pre wiki urls are still on things. fix qr code and url situation. anyone interesting in noisebridge helping LX with organizing NB? noisebridge.net/wiki/storage we can have a name for every shelf. you don't have to write anythin,g just take a picutre of the bin and what's in it. Heather and Dennis and Naomi can help Starting point is a shelf like this and bought some casters to make some first noisebridge shelfs with casters.

Fighting game fridays. last week is game dev wednesdays which is game bridge. and gaming thursdays, game engines on sat. and fightight games on fridays. and existing smash event on thursdays. slaternating school of mellee and smash melle. and other day tournament. so alternaing school tournament.

Naomi: we could get some sewing people for the ninja headbands for the guild

Kavya: we might need to fix the sewing machine to get it to work for this

Newman: are you talking about the domestics? they work?

Kavya: maybe.

Caitlin: how often is fighting game fridays?

LX: every friday and now it'we have 4 events every.

Caitlin: might interfear with whiskey

LX: might be people who played game cube as a kid. Remember the Dreamcast?! we could play Soul Calibur. Indiebridge thursday is a repeat of our GDC party thing. 70-100 ppl showed up and that was actually an underattendance due to a miscommunication about RSVP limitations. I really need physical help -- if anyone wants to help...

Wheezy: A cpl months ago while Loren + I were closing up thre was a young man we had a hard time kicking out of the music room, he locked himself up there, we told him it was unexcellent behavior. he came back Saturday using mean words like the b-word multiple times and saying he wanted to fight me. probably holding a grudge from being kicked out. Ken and I stepped up to defend the space. Spoke to the organizers of the sewing event reported he'd been messing w/ them as well.

Wheezy: Noisebrige is not a fight club! Kudos

kudos to josh for descilating when he came back and naomi for adding him on the 86 page.

I wanted to consult the community add him to the page and thank you guys for helping that happen.

Dennis: is there a list of the 86 people

Zachae: if someone if initing violence then you can't tolerate that.

Alex: except on fighting game fridays, just keep it in the games!

Loren: Talked this out over contentious things. it's not a meeting thing and we don't have to wait for concencous. ATL is also permissionless anyone can ask to leave and ask to disengage and there should be sort of a private consensus to build to that but not to come to decide on at the meetings.

Heather: wince we'll be here in the mornig some days. we might have some times where we mark the door as open but keep the day as locked.

Wez: some peopel on the 86 page come back so it's good to know them so you can stop them from coming back

Naomi: there was a time 2012-2013 when everything happened via Consensus -- it felt like the more respectful thing to do at the time -- but it made meetings go to 10pm every week and tended to create factions and even strengthen factions to help defend them and turn them into fighting/shouting matches at the meetings. It still says on on the ATL page to not bring up atl in the tuesday (a communication response to help guide us away from that practice).

Elan: to clarify, this is no the excellent angello that does 3d printing and cars and hacking that's awesome you all know and love.

4: Cleaning stations

Loren: What do we want to do about cleaning stations? (to newman)

Newman: in the kitchen we can have a broom mop combo. one combo upstairs and one downstairs. maybe a chore list? idk if that'd be ok for the space?

Loren: can be ok but can be rolled back

Zachae: Sheets for people to do it and doacratically people will take up

Newman: things in bathrooms and kichen. we have the tools to print out holsters and stuff to put up on thte walls. kitchen is separate and underway too.

Loren: want to see the mops nad brooms in place. trash can standardization

Newman: the rubbermaid black one is good we need more of those. if we could have just 3 more of those, that'd cover the whole space i think.

Loren: Daniel mentioned ideas in the past of having a trash can within sight everywhere you look (Disney)

Daniel: I've mentioned it yes.

Loren: I want to help figure out a way to figure out managed supplies list and comanaged not just individually and not scattered. costco stopped selling clear plastic utulity bags 3mil clear plastc. call home depot and supplies to see if they have them. plan to deploy shared checklist. on the new infrastructure so people can plan better aroudn it.

Newman: good organized cleaning supplies wold be a great move.

there's dustpans in corners of every room, it's pretty chaotic right now. maybe id them

loren: maybe rfid

Newman: that might be overkill but something like that

Loren: on the kitchen side how goes searshing that you were looking for but couldnt find?

Newman: no i've been working w/ ekna bit more w/ tiling - generated images of what i wanted to work on.

Loren: is this just for the breakroom or the kitchen?

Newman: the yellow wall to staircase area. cheap things you could do. maybe a coulpe hynderd bucks

Loren: josh quoted yesterday a back of napkin estimate about flooring the upstairs, we could waterproof everything -- to make mopping truly possible. is that durable enough for dragging heavy things across the floor, broadly yes.

Josh: 66cents for quare foot so whole floor could be a 1000 bucks

Loren: would be durable enough

Josh: we could have transitions

Newman: would be happy to help install it.

Josh: this is hte cheapest flooring there is but would be enough

Zachae: would be good to mop

Josh: DO we need all of it?

Loren: the water is sinking in and the builders did it cheaply

Heather: heavy chiping in the rna lounge because of chairs rolling.

Zacchae: just today i was noticing dragging my foot across i'm getting splinters in my shoe, yikes

Loren: 3 things that could be cneters of working groups or reasearch goroups . what is reflooring and costs and should we do breakroom in a differnt way and each area and rolling chari and if sewing awant s differnt things than electronics. I want people to vol with loren and wants to take it on. 2 - get trashcans and tie them together. happy to help other pepole figure out attaching recycle and trash and compost. we don't use compost very much and we should use it more. we could divert a lot of trash and save money on our bill 3- kitchen things aswell more directly. Newman do you want volenteers and for what? newman: if wer'e going the entire upstairs floor then it would be alot. loren: research and come back next week newman: sounds good I'll talk with you (loren) more on this aswell. next week we'll have a serious proposal.

Do-ocratic Task Board

Participation also means doing stuff to contribute to the space. Propose new tasks or pick some tasks from Github, from what needs to be done around you, or whatever, and see if someone will sign up to work on that task. Anyone can sign up and it's a great way to show you are contributing!
