[hi, i'm nthmost, the person who just got accused of writing the above line in and thus forced to explain something i wasn't even aware of happening. i don't appreciate that. i was out celebrating my birthday on Sept 22 (that is my actual date of birth, tyvm). anyway, what i said in the last mtg was, "we should talk more about this, if JJ is applying for Access Membership". --nthmost]

Daniel: There's this thing called the foresight institute, bunch of AI, space exploration, bioengineering, cool people will get together at this conference. They've asked if we'd like to be a sponsor. They'd like one person from Noisebridge to sit at a table, and I though it would be fair / responsible to ask if I could be the laison for Noisebridge at this event and sit at the table.

Participation also means doing stuff to contribute to the space. Propose new tasks or pick some tasks from Github, from what needs to be done around you, or whatever, and see if someone will sign up to work on that task. Anyone can sign up and it's a great way to show you are contributing!
