Lesson or Demo[edit | edit source]
Pre-introduction open discussion[edit | edit source]
https://pad.riseup.net/p/nb-meetup-infra-quantum IBM site, info.
Rundown of last week. Quantum computing. Providers. IBM, AWS, D-Wave (maybe not real) lots of ways to store the information, spin of electrons, phosphorous atoms embedded in silicon. Everying cooled down near absolute zero.
T1, T2.

Main section[edit | edit source]
Good deals on maple syrup. Cabana sucre, the "sugar shack", in the spring. L'academie Je me park dans le Shampoo, bungalow from india.
"Kubernetes The Hard Way" - https://developer-friendly.blog/2024/03/03/kubernetes-the-hard-way/#mounting-the-download-directory
What do we want to focus on? Local things, free software.
Login system. Like GSheets, like AirTable, nocodb.com
(AirTable - hope they keep building)
Figma - the deal fell through. https://www.figma.com/ How's the free tier.
- nocodb. - https://userbase.com/ - https://dropinblog.com/
https://www.levels.fyi/blog/scaling-to-millions-with-google-sheets.html
Matt - jellyfin, found, learned about, used. UPnP support, hole-pokes in router. Can self-host a watch party.
OpenSubtitles.net - scraping.
Wikipedia, all books ever published, all movie scripts - still not enough data to train an AI.
Low-resourse lanaguages. Eval for gpt-4
Getting a book published, well printed specifi. Easy. Now
Book about US retail, "From Sh*t to Adequate". 60k words, needed. In the book, people focus on the wrong thing: one more item in the basket. Drive reach, at lower end.
Items with negative price. Demand transferrence. If sardines are out, what else might they buy. But it's really hard to get signal out from it.
Toronto - firm
Not free software, open source. "Martian" router for LLMs.
Different but similar. Mixtral, mixture of experts (in the model, trained, vs routing among requests)
SDXL-Lightning
Pyed Pyper pypyp package, run as pyp. One-liners galore, ast (abstract syntax tree) static analysis of imports required, pyp.py config file. --explain flag outputs the code to be run "dry run"
