Intensive Workshop on Cultured Food and Beverages[edit]

The event will take place at Noisebridge hacker space on 18th and Mission starting on Wednesday 1th of December. The course will be hold approximately three times per week lasting for 2-4 hours each day. Participants will learn bases of both theoretical and practical knowledge enabling them to culture various food and beverages on a home scale. We will be preparing yogurt, honey coolers, kombuchas, water kefir drinks and many others. The course by itself is for free, however the costs of ingredients has to be covered. We also expect to obtain donations which will help to realized this course in México. At the end of the course we will held a summit on Slow Food Movement topics. The event will culminate on Saturday 18th of December at Noisebridge Christmas party.

22/12/2010 Establish collaboration with facilities offering short term and long term volunteer opportunities in a food and beverage culturing. Preferably one open source non profit based and two commercial business based.
